中國(guó)經(jīng)典小故事是中華優(yōu)秀傳統(tǒng)文化的豐富寶藏。這些小故事言簡(jiǎn)意賅，生動(dòng)形象，記錄了中國(guó)悠久的歷史、燦爛的文明和多彩的文化，熔文學(xué)性、知識(shí)性、趣味性、哲理性、教育性于一爐，啟智增慧，培根鑄魂。

《用英語介紹中國(guó)經(jīng)典小故事》正是基于這種理念推出的，這些小故事雅俗共賞，入眼入心，短小精悍，朗朗上口，既有波譎云詭、想象奇絕的神話故事，又有形形色色、妙趣橫生的人物故事，也有入木三分、醍醐灌頂?shù)脑⒀怨适拢�還有栩栩如生、活靈活現(xiàn)的歷史故事，更有千錘百煉、意味深長(zhǎng)的成語故事和千回百轉(zhuǎn)、蕩氣回腸的傳奇故事……這些故事涵蓋做人、處事、修身、教育、愛國(guó)等主題，多角度、多層面、全方位精彩呈現(xiàn)了偉大祖國(guó)的源遠(yuǎn)流長(zhǎng)，以及絢麗多姿的文化寶藏。

本書采用故事、英語譯文、注解、感悟的方式進(jìn)行編排，精心翻譯，力爭(zhēng)再現(xiàn)經(jīng)典故事的神韻與風(fēng)姿。焦作市文化館婁莎莎參與了本書編譯，負(fù)責(zé)漢語部分的審校。
